For the fourth year in a row, Satori Capital was honored with a “Best Places to Work in Money Management” award from Pensions & Investments magazine. This year, Satori was ranked number two in the “Managers with 20 to 49 employees” category.
The P&I list, now in its sixth year, is dedicated to identifying and recognizing the best employers in the money management industry. P&I partnered with Best Companies Group, an independent research firm, to conduct a two-part survey process of employers and their employees, evaluating factors such as each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics.
“Building a winning culture isn’t simple,” said P&I editor Amy B. Resnick. “The companies identified in this report take great care when it comes to listening to their employees and tailoring workplace policies to support employee growth, retention, and readiness for future job promotions.”
Satori was recognized for its recruiting and team-building initiatives, as well as its leadership development and “Optimal Living” initiatives, its dog-friendly offices, and its “Satori Sweats” workouts and personal training. The profile on Satori in P&I’s December 10, 2018, issue includes this quote from the anonymous employee survey:
“This organization is genuinely committed to the betterment of its internal practices, its external contributions to society, and the well-being of each employee. The leadership team is very involved in all aspects of the company and takes a sincere interest in each employee’s condition.”
“Our team members are such strong performers that they could work anywhere,” said Satori co-founder Randy Eisenman. “We strive to create a culture that they will find rewarding and supportive because they are critical to our success. Investing, portfolio management, recruiting, optimal living, performance management — it all starts and ends with the people on our team.”
The P&I award is one of several Satori has received for workplace excellence. In addition to winning the P&I award in the three previous years, the firm has been named to the “Best Companies to Work for in Fort Worth” list by FW Inc. magazine in 2016, 2017, and 2018, and it was included on the Dallas Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work in North Texas” list for 2017.

Disclaimer: The Best Places to Work in Money Management honor is awarded by Pensions & Investments magazine to businesses in the financial services industry, including Satori Capital. Winners were assessed through an anonymous employee survey that measured key areas of an organization’s culture ranging from compensation and benefits to trust in senior leadership. Similar independent employee surveys were conducted for the FW Inc. magazine and Dallas Business Journal awards. Satori Capital did not pay to participate in any ranking, and employee participation in all surveys was completely voluntary.
