For a ninth consecutive year, Satori Capital was honored with a “Best Places to Work in Money Management” award from Pensions & Investments magazine. This year, Satori ranked fifth in the small employer category. Overall, 123 employers were included in the 2023 rankings.

The P&I program identifies and recognizes companies in the money management industry that build healthy and thriving work cultures. P&I partnered with Best Companies Group, an independent research firm, to assess firms through anonymous surveys that evaluated factors such as employee engagement and satisfaction, workplace policies and practices, benefits, and demographics. Satori was recognized for its “Optimal Living Program,” which is a whole-person approach to benefits that includes healthy chef-prepared lunches, on-site chiropractic and massage services, executive health screenings for all team members, expert guest speakers, a semiannual gift box of curated products to support healthy living, and a yearly $1,000 allowance per employee for fitness and wellness-related purchases.

The profile on Satori also noted that the firm covers the full cost of medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums for employees and their dependents, and spotlighted Satori’s many team activities, including an end-of-summer bash, a pickleball tournament with team members and interns, retreats to unique locations both in and out of the state, and family fun days.

Satori’s employer profile in P&I’s December 2023 issue includes the following quotations from the anonymous employee survey:

“People genuinely care about each other as humans here, and the focus is on getting great outcomes for our stakeholders vs. climbing a ladder.”

“Satori really does value its employees and works to make sure that they are taken care of, not just at work but also outside of work. There is a commitment to being your best self, and even though the standards are high, they still recognize the employee’s needs and try to fulfill them in a variety of ways.”

“The firm’s leadership sets the tone with a clear purpose and mission that resonates. They live the company’s values, and they hire top-notch, fun, energetic talent.”

The P&I award is one of several Satori has received for workplace excellence. In addition to winning the P&I award in the eight previous years, the firm has been named to the “Best Companies to Work for in Fort Worth” list by Fort Worth Inc. magazine every year since 2016 and was certified as a “Great Place to Work” by the Great Place to Work organization in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Satori ranked highly on the Texas Association of Business’ “100 Best Companies to Work for in Texas” list in 2019 through 2022 and has repeatedly been included in the Dallas Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work in North Texas” list.

Disclaimer: The Best Places to Work in Money Management honor is awarded by Pensions & Investments magazine to businesses in the financial services industry, including Satori Capital. Winners were assessed through an anonymous employee survey that measured key areas of an organization’s culture ranging from compensation and benefits to trust in senior leadership. Similar independent employee surveys were conducted for the FW Inc. magazine, Dallas Business Journal, Great Places to Work, and Texas Association of Business awards. Satori Capital did not pay to participate in any ranking, and employee participation in all surveys was completely voluntary.
