Satori Capital is pleased to congratulate Danai Brooks, CEO of Satori portfolio company Komline-Sanderson, on winning a 2022 EY Entrepreneur of the Year award for the New Jersey region.

Mr. Brooks was one of 13 entrepreneurial leaders selected for the regional award, which honors business leaders who are working to “create, innovate, grow, learn, and build a better world.”  Winners were selected by an independent panel of judges that included CEOs, regional business managers, investors, and previous award recipients.

“This is a prestigious and well-deserved honor for Danai that reflects his personal and professional commitment to creating a positive impact through the company he leads,” said Satori co-founder Sunny Vanderbeck, himself a former finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award.  “Danai’s principled stewardship of Komline, and the company’s positive impact in contributing to cleaner air, water, and waste removal processes around the world, align perfectly with Satori’s purpose of creating, funding, and inspiring businesses that elevate humanity.”

As a regional award winner, Mr. Brooks is eligible for the national Entrepreneur of the Year awards to be announced in November.

The Entrepreneur of the Year award program recognizes business leaders “building a more equitable, sustainable and prosperous world for all” in more than 145 cities in 60 countries.  For more information, visit www.ey.com/en_us/entrepreneur-of-the-year-us.
