Shelby Fleming
As senior accountant, Shelby Fleming assists with daily accounting duties for all of Satori’s businesses, including general ledger, financial closings, and bank reconciliations. Her responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reviewing and approving invoices, and handling invoicing, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily deposits. She also serves as the first-line reviewer for multiple entities’ tax returns and assists the firm’s controllers with managing capital activity in multiple partnerships.
Prior to joining Satori, Shelby was a senior accountant at Maverick Capital, where she coordinated monthly manager pricing and valuation processes, conducted daily reconciliation of various cash accounts, assisted with monthly performance reporting for the funds, and prepared for the funds’ annual financial audit, among other responsibilities. She previously served as a member of the assurance staff at Ernst & Young.
Shelby received her B.B.A. in accounting and master’s in finance from Texas A&M University, and she is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas. She lives in Dallas with her dog, Rue. In her free time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her friends and family.
