Julia Minnis
As senior accountant, Julia focuses on daily accounting duties for Satori’s private equity business. Her role involves conducting general ledger, financial closings, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and investor reporting for Satori’s private equity funds. She is also responsible for reviewing tax estimates, projections, and final filings and supporting partners and investors with tax-related inquiries, and she serves as a key liaison with external auditors, managing audit requests and timelines.
Prior to joining Satori, Julia was a senior consultant at BVWD, where she was exposed to a variety of acquisitions ranging from $.5 million to $70 million, served as an interim controller for a retail company, and created cash flow budgets, monthly forecasts, and recurring financial reporting and compliance packages. Previously, Julia held tax-focused roles at Tolleson Wealth Management and Deloitte, supporting ultra-high-net-worth clients and investment firms with tax planning and compliance.
Julia earned her B.B.A. and Master of Accounting degrees from Southern Methodist University, and she is a certified public accountant in Texas. She serves as vice president of sponsorship for the Real Estate Financial Executives Association. Julia lives in Dallas with her fiancé, Taylor, and their two golden retrievers, Henry and Georgia. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and staying involved in the community through the Junior League of Dallas.
