Satori Capital ranked third of the 2021 “100 Best Companies to Work for in Texas,” a program created by Texas Monthly, the Texas Association of Business, the Texas Society for Human Resource Management, and Best Companies Group. The awards were presented at an event on October 4, 2021, and honorees are featured in the October 2021 issue of Texas Monthly. Satori previously ranked fourth on the list in 2019 and 2020.
The “100 Best Companies to Work for in Texas” program recognizes Texas employers that “make it a priority to create better workplaces for their employees.” Companies named to the list were assessed and ranked based on an overview of their company policies and procedures, along with an in-depth, anonymous employee engagement and satisfaction questionnaire. Satori was ranked in the Small Company category, which includes businesses with 15 to 99 employees.
Satori’s profile in Texas Monthly includes this description of the firm’s outlook on culture from co-founder Randy Eisenman: “The caliber of the people who work here is so high they could work anywhere. We want to make them feel as special as they are, and we know that if they are happy and healthy, they simply perform better and enjoy their work and their lives more.”
Special programs and benefits recognized in the Satori profile include chef-prepared healthy lunches, which were delivered to team members’ homes during the pandemic, as well as a yearly $1,000 wellness allowance, weekly on-site chiropractor and masseuse visits, and annual charitable donations on each team member’s birthday. The profile also highlighted the “Satori Serves” program, which organizes charitable activities for team members, such as serving breakfast at the Ronald McDonald House or volunteering at the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
The “100 Best Companies to Work for in Texas” award is one of several Satori has received for workplace excellence. The firm was certified as a “Great Place to Work” by the Great Place to Work organization in 2021. It has been named to Pensions & Investments‘ “Best Places to Work in Money Management” list for six years in a row and to FW Inc.‘s “Best Companies to Work for in Fort Worth” list every year since 2016. Satori was also included in the Dallas Business Journal‘s “Best Places to Work in North Texas” list for 2017, 2019, and 2020.
